OLD AGE CARE [NEW LIFE CHARITY MISSION PROJECT]

Old age is not the end of the road - it is a beautiful, meaningful chapter in life.

Supporting Seniors with Dignity and Care
The condition of the aged people living below poverty line is still heart rendering. Most of them are either neglected by their family members or abandoned in view of the acute poverty. The specific health problems faced by them are eyesight, orthopedic, back strains, nutrition and in some cases asthma or other respiratory problems. They have to spend their rest of the life in utter penury. Even the personal hygiene of these old aged people both living in shelters or independently is highly deplorable. Mental health is also neglected.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  • Provide Holistic Healthcare support
  • Promote Mental and Emotional Wellbeing
  • Ensure safe and Dignified living conditions

MEAL PLANNING

The project is an approach intended to undertake the following activities

  • Consult nutritionists to design balanced menus
  • Customize meals based on dietary needs (low salt, diabetic-friendly, etc.,)
  • Ensure seasonal and locally available ingredients
  • Focus on simple, easy to chew meals with soft textures for those with dental or digestion concerns

DIGNITY THROUGH HYGIENE

For many senior citizens, limited mobility, health challenges, or financial hardships can make basic hygiene supplies difficult to access

We are committed to supporting the elderly with essential items that help them feel fresh, clean, and cared for every day. Our health and hygiene support includes:

  • Gentle bathing soaps suited for sensitive skin
  • Nourshing hair oil to maintain scalp and hair health
  • Washing and cleansing essentials to promote cleanliness and comfort

By ensuring these supplies reach our elders regularly, we aim to protect their health, prevent infection, and promote diginity and confidence.
